Marquis is on the works
Cool ;-) Can I ask ..How much concept work did you do for the project and how long has the whole process been from start to finish? Thanks
about your question...I wrote the script then full storyboards, and put them together in an edit with Temp music and dialog and then I did color paintings for some of the shots. (you can see some of those on previous entries on this Blog" did designs for the props, build them build the 3d stuff. I went to check location took measures, then build rough 3d models of these places to do some previs and my shooting plan.I took me near to a year to plan it. I didn't had full time to work on this so I used weekends and nights.I shoot it in two weekends, One at LA and one in Mexico.Post production took me a little over a year. I almost did all by myself with my kid on my lap, and no budget.I'll be posting "making of" stuff at the production blog.hope this helps...
Thanks for the detailed reply...really interesting to know about all the different stages of work you completed for the film...it must of been a great learning experience ! Just checked out the concept reel you've posted as well..very cool! Thanks again and all the best ;-)Paul
